Water’s Edge

Sandwiched between the blue expanse of Clew Bay that opens into the Atlantic Ocean, and the majestic mount of Croagh Patrick, is a lush green spread of fields and trees- home to the proposed 4-star Murrisk Hotel- Water’s Edge. The design responds to the resplendent nature around and creates an open ground level that intersperses the outside and the inside. An inviting reception, the bar and a majestic function room overlooks the water with the restaurant opening into a lavish outdoor garden and gazebo. The two floors above accommodate guest rooms with views to the waters or the woods. Utilising the natural context of site to its maximum, Water’s Edge blends with the built context of the surroundings creating a testament to Irish heritage.
